Analysis & Design Phase

Analysis is the process of translating the business goals and functional requirements into deliverable iterations of development work as milestones in the project plan.

• Define application architecture (UI & Data Model)
• Develop user stories (use cases) & Estimate Scope

• Project plan & schedule

Construction Phase

Construction consists of weekly sprints of coding and unit testing tied to specific milestones in the project plan. Each milestone results in one or more completed user stories ready for testing.

Key Objectives

• Code and unit test complete use cases

Deliverable

• Completed milestones - per sprint iteration

Deployment Phase

Deployment begins with a comprehensive system test for user acceptance and ends with final deployment to the production installation and go live.

Key Objectives

• Full system configured on staging site for system test
• Completion of system test and user acceptance

Deliverable

• Deployment of system on live production site

Maintenance Phase

Maintenance includes supporting the live site, continued development of enhancements, and optionally, hand–off of the project to the client's internal team.

Key Objectives

• Monitoring site to meet user expectations
• Timely response to trouble tickets

Deliverable

• Technical documentation and knowledge transfer
